I see a beer tasting and a brewery tour, what's the difference?
We do indeed offer two different beer activities: a separate one-hour beer tasting in Amsterdam, called the "Mystery Beer Tasting." Click here for more info & tickets
The other activity is the Brewery Tour. We'll take the bus to three different breweries for a beer tasting and a behind-the-scenes look at the brewery. Click here for more info & tickets
Where does the brewery bus depart from?
The Brew Bus departs and ends at Overhoeksplein. Behind Central Station, you can take the free ferry to Buiksloterweg, and from there it's just a few minutes' walk.
With a private tour, we can depart and end from any location, even outside Amsterdam. There's often a (small) additional charge for this.
Where is the beer tasting held?
It also takes place behind Central Station, near Overhoeksplein. The exact location remains a secret, but you'll see the location once you've booked your tickets.
Someone in your group doesn't drink beer.
We can also arrange a glass of wine as an alternative, or a soft drink. A non-alcoholic beer is also an option.
The numbers have changed
You can change your group size up to 48 hours in advance. So, no problem at all.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment, especially for (larger) groups. However, we often have some last-minute spots available.
How long is the brewery tour?
The tour lasts a total of 3 hours.
Is the brewery tour wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately not. However, if you are able to get out of your wheelchair and can get assistance getting on and off, it's certainly possible.
Our beer tasting is wheelchair accessible, and we organize it every Thursday through Sunday at 4:00 PM. Click here for more information & tickets. Click here for more info & tickets
Can I also book the bus privately?
Yes, you can, but please keep in mind that prices vary for different group sizes. These are explained on the Private page for groups..
Can I bring my own drinks?
Bringing your own drinks is not permitted on the bus.
Can I eat at the breweries?
That's certainly possible, but snacks are not included and must be paid for on-site.
It's also possible to stay for dinner at the last brewery; this can be decided last minute. However, for larger groups, it's advisable to let us know in advance.
I have a Gift Card / I want to give a Gift Card as a gift.
That's great! We even have a whole page about it. Click here for more information and how to redeem it.
My question isn't listed.
That's a shame, but feel free to send us a WhatsApp message or email; we'll often respond immediately. 😉
